Senior Farewell: Ahana Nagarkatti

Features

The KO News will surely miss senior Ahana Nagarkatti next year. Ahana joined the KO News staff her junior year and has been a member of the web staff, serving as both an associate web editor and as co-Head Web Editor.

In these roles, Ahana has worked to publish articles online and create web-exclusive content like videos and quizzes. Ahana joined the KO News after English teacher Heidi Hojnicki mentioned the web staff as an opportunity for Ahana to utilize her blogging and video editing skills; Ahana is certainly happy that she decided to join the staff, for she has met new people and made lasting memories. “My favorite KO News memory was hanging out, eating bagels, and publishing stuff during a publishing meeting one Sunday last year,” Ahana said.

Next year, Ahana will be attending the College of the Holy Cross where she will be playing tennis and hopes to join their newspaper staff. “I’m also looking forward to taking film classes and film editing classes as electives if I can next year,” Ahana said. Ahana encourages everyone to join the KO News because not only is it a rewarding experience to see your work published, but it is also a great opportunity to get involved in the KO Community.
