Senior Farewell – Jane Liang

Senior Jane Liang has essential documenting KO in photos for the KO News over the past two and a half years. She joined the KO News staff her sophomore year, beginning as an associate photo editor and went on to become the Head Photo Editor. Her responsibilities during her time as a part of the KO News have differed vastly from the writers and editors for the KO News. She has been responsible for taking, finding, editing, and formatting quality photos and videos for many articles in both the print and web versions.

“I have always had a passion for photography, and I joined the KO News because of it,” she said. Ultimately, the KO News has become an outlet for Jane’s passion for photo-taking. She has also embraced opportunities the KO News has provided outside of photography, such as the sense of community. “I really enjoyed getting to know everything happening in school and working with these amazing people,” she said.

Her advice to future KO News members is to make most of your time and have fun with it because time really does go by fast. The KO News will greatly miss Jane’s contributions and her kind spirit.
