Kingswood Oxford is proud to welcome Hope Cameron as the enrollment office assistant! Although Mrs. Cameron is not new to KO, she is thrilled to be back and hoping to make a difference in our community.

Mrs. Cameron grew up in Connecticut, attended Miss Porter’s School for high school, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in English at Wesleyan University. She has two children, a 17-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter, as well as a loving border collie named George and a cat named Gato.

Having served as a data specialist on the advancement team in 2019, the interim Middle School coordinator twice, and most recently, the interim College Counseling Office coordinator, Mrs. Cameron is without a doubt already accustomed to KO’s atmosphere.

In her new position, Mrs. Cameron is excited about the opportunity to meet and work with prospective families aside from the families who are already a part of our community. “This is a really neat change in getting to see that first step of a family’s journey with KO,” Mrs. Cameron said.

She reflected that her first few weeks have been insanely busy but wonderful. “It’s a perfect combination of getting to interact with the faculty, staff, and students while also readjusting to KO,” Mrs. Cameron said.

The thing that Mrs. Cameron is most looking forward to this year is getting to work with a new team of faculty as well as getting to work with a whole new group of students. “I think that this is going to be a really great year!” she said.
