Caffè Nero is a perfect addition to West Hartford Center

Reviews

After the destruction of the well-loved Sweet Frog in West Hartford Center, it was difficult to believe that anything would be worthy of superseding such a great place. However, Caffè Nero has proven it’s more than worthy. This Italian coffee company radiates warmth and has such a wide variety of options for meals.

Although most cafés close after lunchtime, Caffè Nero is open from seven in the morning until seven at night, allowing for a great place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The café provides a great study spot all day long. This is an amazing option for KO students who want to go off campus for lunch, or just need a place to hang out or study.

The architecture of Caffè Nero brings a sense of home. The cozy couches and tables with outlets allow everyone’s wants and needs to be satisfied. The rustic look is appealing and welcoming. There is a fire pit and bookshelves along the wall, adding to the at-home feel. The café is certainly not just for eating. Customers are able to stay as long as they would like in the café to do whatever they need, such as work or hanging out. It is a wonderful and comfortable place to relax.

Caffè Nero plays music that perfectly aligns with the feel of the café. It is soothing and warm, which allows people to feel even more satisfied with the appeal. The music is not distracting as you work or chat and actually provides for great concentration and vibrance. This is because it provides a bit of cover over louder conversations for those who want to concentrate, but not enough noise to distract or block conversations from happening. Instead of silence, I like how the café chose to brighten the store with beautiful jazz and soft melodies.

Although the café can be busy with people, it does not feel overwhelming, as the comfort of the café allows for there to not be too much noise. Most people are there just to relax, and I believe that it makes the environment of the café even more welcoming.

The menu at Caffè Nero has a huge variety of goods. Since the restaurant supplies meals all day long, it has to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The café does a great job at this, producing selections of all different types of eggs, sandwiches, pizzas, and more. It provides a wonderful culinary experience. The meals are authentic and memorable, and they have plenty of baked goods, some of which I had never heard of before.

The drinks at Caffè Nero are particularly unique and memorable. The coffee is made from traditional Italian roasting. It is sustainable and made with only the finest coffee beans. The coffee is absolutely remarkable and different from other coffees that I have tried. Other than coffee, there are many varieties of beverages to choose from. All of the drinks are made fresh in front of you. There are smoothies, refreshers, ice teas, and flavored lemonades. You can buy seasonal drinks as well, such as pumpkin spice lattes.

The workers at Caffè Nero are very kind and supportive, and you can tell that they enjoy their job. The meals and goods come out extremely fast, and if you are eating in the café they will bring the meals right to you.

I would recommend Caffè Nero to anyone, as it is the perfect place to go if you want a quick meal or snack and just want to hang out or study. It is a wonderful addition to West Hartford Center, and I am glad it is so accessible to students at KO. Maybe we can even get a student discount from there in the future. As the year goes on, I can tell that Caffè Nero is going to be one of my top places to go and hang out.
