Scouring Netflix for the best new movies and series to watch, senior Shreeya Chalikonda will surely be missed as an irreplaceable member of the KO News reviews staff.
Shreeya has worked on the KO News staff for two years as an associate reviews editor, writing about two articles each month and helping to edit other articles. She often reviews Netflix Originals like the horror film “His House” or the documentary “Death to 2020.” After taking journalism her sophomore year, Shreeya was interested in joining the KO News staff. “My favorite KO News memory was spending Sundays in the library editing the articles but also seeing and talking to everybody on the news,” Shreeya said.
Shreeya encourages all Wyverns to take a risk and join KO News. “It’s really fun to write articles and interview people,” she said. “It really helps you be involved in the community. I also really loved the news staff and it was a completely new experience for me, so it was kind of out of my comfort zone but it didn’t feel that way,” Shreeya will certainly be missed as an invaluable member of the KO News, but we are excited to see her shine in all of her future endeavors.
